Some Abstract-ish Ones

Sometimes, we plan a frame.
Sometimes, we want the light in a special way.
Other times, its about the dark.
And on other times, it's about the people, trees, animals, and other random things.

Here are some that were experimental in nature.

No Man's Land - I

While my earlier post was about occupations that I came across the journey of life, there have also been moments when it was all peaceful, very few people in sight, and a kind of loneliness that is today a luxury in this chaotic world of ours. Here are some such glimpses.

Occupations - I

A collection of images with various occupations that surround us.

His paint makes our homes.
I wonder, what about his home?

Experimented with in-camera effect, to bring out a different essence to this usual scene around hyderabad old city. Taken from Charminar.

In the film Rush based on a famous Formula 1 Rivalry, one of the protagonists, F1 Champion Niki Lauda says "I accept every time I get in my car there is a 20% chance I could die, and I can live with it, but not 1% more."
I wonder! This guy, probably as old as I am, when he signed up, did he calculate his percentages? Does he thank god everyday when he goes to sleep that he's not posted on a hostile border? Or does he lament that he only gets to stand and be a showpiece while his brothers-in-arms kill and die for his motherland? I wonder....

My latest post on 500PX

On my last trip home, I had the opportunity to visit the set of a shooting. Here's a glimpse.

And also visit an area being developed for residential purposes. Well, the forests will be gone soon, and the birds will go with them. And then slowly the water. We will be left with our houses and our roads and our garages. Soon.

I was fortunate to be in Maharashtra on the Day on which they celebrate the statehood of Maharashtra. At Matheran, I witnessed a procession featuring enactment of the great king, Shivaji.

On our way to Matheran, on the mountain train.

While I was in Mumbai, a friend suggested these JBL speakers to me. And crazy that I am, I went ahead and bought this one. I'm not really a speaker person. I even listen to hard rock in low volume. But! This amazing speaker has added a new dimension to my life. In the mornings it plays my favourite tracks, on silent evenings I enjoy soothing music sitting in the dark.

One day I was not keeping well. Was stuck at home. And then was about to take the tablets. And realized there's always a choice.

And finally, here's one of my favourite shots.
